Microsoft is hiring a Principal Software Engineer Manager in Dublin to lead a technical and operational engineering team responsible for Windows application compatibility infrastructure, regression detection, test automation, AI solutions, CI/CD, incident response, and software quality. The role includes setting technical strategy and roadmaps, hiring and developing engineers, partnering with engineering leaders across Dublin, Redmond, Nairobi, and other locations, and representing the team to senior leadership. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience; AI solution experience is highly desired. The typical base pay range across Ireland is €99,800 to €172,400 per year.
