Description
Deimos is hiring a full-time contractor Principal Software Engineer for its Professional Services team. The role owns critical systems end-to-end, leads distributed and cloud-native architecture, modernizes monoliths, designs APIs and integrations, establishes observability and engineering standards, and mentors senior and mid-level engineers. It requires 10+ years of software engineering experience, deep Node.js and TypeScript expertise, distributed systems and cloud knowledge, database and CI/CD experience, and the ability to lead technically without direct people management. The position is fully remote for candidates based in Africa or the United Kingdom.
