Insight Software is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for its Platform Services team to serve as the senior technical authority for the Certent Equity Management platform. The role owns reliability, observability, resilience, shared infrastructure, and cloud-native modernization across multiple production ecosystems, including legacy .NET services, Oracle databases, and Azure. Responsibilities include improving observability and alerting, implementing resilience patterns, migrating services to modern .NET, establishing engineering standards, and leading AI-first development practices. The position requires at least eight years of enterprise SaaS software engineering experience, strong C#/.NET and Azure expertise, Oracle database proficiency, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. The stated United States salary range is 124,000.00 to 156,000.00 USD annually.
