AlphaSense is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to define and build shared, API-first product platforms that power internal products, external integrations, and AI agents. The role combines hands-on backend engineering with cross-product technical leadership, including API design and standards, agentic workflow development, reliability and scalability, risk reduction, and mentoring senior engineers. Candidates should have extensive senior or principal-level experience, a strong backend and API background, and experience with product platforms or large-scale distributed systems.
