Description
The Principal Software Engineer will lead the technical direction of a Ruby-based platform, architecting and implementing scalable, high-performance systems with Ruby and Ruby on Rails. The role includes defining architectural strategy, leading feature and product development, collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, optimizing systems, contributing to technology and process evolution, making technical decisions, and resolving complex production issues. The position requires 8–10+ years of software development experience, strong Ruby and Rails expertise, web and database knowledge, distributed systems understanding, cloud familiarity, and leadership experience.
