Description
Huntress is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for its SIEM team to lead a feature-delivery team and define the technical vision for automated detection and human-powered threat hunting. The role owns complex mission-critical software, architecture, quality, performance, monitoring, and release processes; leads technical decisions and junior engineers; and collaborates with product, security, platform, and architecture teams. It is a remote US position with a $215,000 to $240,000 base salary plus bonus and equity, and requires 15+ years of complex software development experience, 8+ years of Ruby on Rails programming, and 8+ years of large-scale database experience.
