Microsoft is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for its Windows Cloud Experiences team to lead architecture and technical strategy for the Windows App, a native Windows client connecting to Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, and remote PCs. The role focuses on cross-cutting areas such as connection, session lifecycle, authentication, OS integration, reliability, performance, and security, while guiding multi-team execution, influencing partner roadmaps, establishing engineering standards, and mentoring technical leaders.
