Description
Microsoft Azure AI Search is hiring an Engineering Manager to build and lead a software-engineering team while designing and implementing scalable, globally deployed search-service capabilities. The role includes project planning, feature design, engineering mentorship, DevOps and automation, telemetry analysis, and balancing customer requirements with business goals. Required qualifications include 10+ years of programming experience in C#, Java, C++, or object-oriented programming; 4+ years of people-manager or technical-lead experience; and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline or 14+ years of software-product development experience. Preferred qualifications include platform-service experience, search-product experience, cloud-platform experience, SQL, PowerShell, automation, and advanced-search-domain experience.
