Microsoft is hiring a Principal Software Engineer Manager to lead a software engineering team focused on Windows PC hardware enablement. The role involves building toolkits, defining technical strategy, coordinating with OEMs, ODMs, IHVs, silicon partners, and cross-functional teams, and developing engineering talent. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, at least six years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, and the ability to communicate and present effectively in Mandarin and English. Preferred qualifications include C++ or C# proficiency, people management experience, Windows development and debugging experience, successful software delivery, AI and data-driven application experience, cross-team collaboration, and OEM/IHV partner collaboration.
