Description
Infineon is hiring a Principal Software Test Engineer - Ethernet Switch Firmware to define and evolve verification and validation strategies for Ethernet switch firmware, including PTP, MKA/MACsec, base firmware, HAL, Layer 2 switching, and functional safety. The role owns automated test frameworks, validation environments, functional and reliability testing, fault injection, root-cause analysis, ASPICE and ISO 26262 compliance, and technical mentoring of test engineers. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical field, 8+ years of software testing and firmware verification experience, extensive Ethernet and embedded networking expertise, and expert Python-based test automation skills.
