AECOM is hiring a Principal Solar Electrical Engineer to join its Energy team and deliver feasibility, design, technical advisory, permitting, and construction services for utility-scale and distributed solar PV projects. The role involves designing PV systems with industry-standard software, preparing specifications and reports, conducting site surveys, supporting tenders, and applying UK electrical standards. It is based in one of six UK offices with flexible hybrid working and requires an electrical engineering degree or master's, chartered engineer status or active chartership, and experience leading project teams and mentoring junior engineers.
