Description
NATO is seeking a Principal Solution Engineer for a full-time, fully on-site contract in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium, from 28 September through 31 December 2026. The role leads solution architecture, requirements management, systems development governance, and network design for complex initiatives, including mobile and deployable infrastructure, wireless and SATCOM technologies, communications equipment, power systems, security, and systems integration. The candidate must hold an active NATO SECRET clearance, have a relevant master's degree with five years of post-related experience or bachelor's degree with eight years, and possess team leadership, architecture modelling, quality assurance, ITIL Foundation, and PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent certification; NATO Architecture Framework, Federated Mission Networking, international military/civilian, and advanced architecture or project-management certifications are desirable.
