Simbe is hiring a Principal or Staff Robotics Perception Engineer to bridge computer vision and robot software teams for its Tally autonomous retail robots. The role owns production perception pipelines, integrates perception models into robot code, optimizes real-time inference, advances perception research, develops benchmarks, debugs field failures, and provides technical leadership. Candidates need 7+ years of relevant experience, strong Python and C++ skills, ROS or ROS2 experience, and expertise with deep-learning frameworks and embedded AI deployment.
