LinkedIn is hiring a Principal Staff Software Engineer for its Development Infrastructure organization in Bellevue, Washington. The role is hybrid and focuses on designing, developing, testing, deploying, and leading strategic investments in large-scale developer infrastructure, including engineering systems, CI/CD platforms, code collaboration environments, and developer productivity tools. The engineer will also grow and mentor engineering teams, collaborate across organizations, establish operational excellence roadmaps, and contribute to open-source and industry-wide developer communities. The position requires a computer science or related degree or practical experience, 10+ years of programming experience, 7+ years building large-scale distributed applications, 7+ years in technical leadership, and 3+ years building developer infrastructure and services.
