AECOM is hiring a Principal Structural Engineer for its Nuclear Team in Warrington. The role leads structural engineering projects from concept through completion, provides technical leadership and mentorship, conducts seismic and stress analysis, reviews designs and calculations, ensures compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements, and presents technical recommendations to clients and senior management. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification, Chartered Engineer status with MICE or MIStructE membership, and preferably experience in nuclear new-build or decommissioning projects, seismic and numerical modelling, and mentoring design-team members. The role offers a flexible hybrid working model and requires the ability to meet UK security clearance requirements.
