AECOM is hiring a Principal Structural Engineer for its Water Team in one of its UK offices, with a flexible hybrid working model. The role leads and oversees structural design for heavy civil water infrastructure, including pumping stations, water-retaining concrete structures, piled foundations, and steel-framed buildings; prepares detailed designs, drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports; mentors team members; and coordinates with project disciplines and clients. Candidates need a civil and structural engineering degree or equivalent qualification, relevant professional membership or progress toward it, experience developing efficient structural solutions and managing technical delivery, and experience using appropriate standards and specifications.
