Description
AECOM is recruiting a Principal Structural Engineer for its Buildings & Places business unit, based in either the London or St Albans office. The role leads and supervises structural engineering design for complex new-build and refurbishment projects, manages commercial, technical, budget, and schedule aspects, coordinates design input and output, guides junior engineers, and interacts with clients. Candidates must have extensive post-university building-structures experience, knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel design, Eurocodes, structural analysis software, and structural design principles, along with a relevant degree, Chartered Engineer status, and membership in the Institution of Civil Engineers and/or the Institution of Structural Engineers. The position offers hybrid work options and includes in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office.
