Genentech is hiring a Principal Supply Chain Data Scientist to lead advanced analytics and data science initiatives at its main United States distribution facility in Louisville, Kentucky. The role focuses on predictive and prescriptive modeling, machine learning, optimization, inventory and logistics planning, warehouse capacity and space utilization, distribution network analysis, digital twin scenario planning, and pharmaceutical distribution compliance. The principal will report to the Head of Business Excellence, advise senior leadership, manage data governance and BI systems, and present strategic recommendations. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field, at least 10 years of relevant experience including 8 years in advanced supply chain analytics, and expertise in Python, SQL, machine learning, optimization, and pharmaceutical distribution. Relocation funding is not available, and the expected salary range is $127,100 to $236,100.
