Description

Northrop Grumman’s Global Surveillance Division is hiring a Principal Systems Engineer or Senior Principal Systems Engineer in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to support the E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System. The role leads systems engineering integration, test planning and execution, reporting, obsolescence analysis, design reviews, technical planning, and stakeholder collaboration. Candidates must have a STEM degree, substantial related experience, and an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance. The position requires travel of 10% of the time and offers primary-level base salary of $93,900 to $139,900 and secondary-level base salary of $116,300 to $174,500, with health insurance and other benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university
Required Previous Experiences: 5 years of related experience for the Principal Systems Engineer level

Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading systems engineering events such as PDR and CDR
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience resolving issues and providing technical support
Ability to work with minimal direction in team environments
2+ years of experience creating, updating, and maintaining requirements specifications in DOORS
3+ years of experience with Systems Engineering principles
