Description
Red 6 is hiring a Principal Systems Engineer to support the development, integration, and verification of its Airborne Tactical Augmented Reality System (ATARS) across the full product lifecycle. The role leads requirements, architecture, interface, integration, verification, design milestone reviews, trade studies, resource allocations, technical risks, and cross-functional coordination for hardware, software, optics, test, and airworthiness teams. It also leads early-lifecycle systems work for the next generation of ATARS. The position requires a STEM bachelor’s degree, 12+ years of aerospace or mission-critical systems experience, MBSE and systems engineering expertise, and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. The estimated base salary is $160,000–$200,000, with full-time employee benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and paid leave.
