Description
The Embedded Linux Platform Engineer will bring up and harden Oracle Linux on ARM, Intel, and AMD platforms; develop secure production images and OS/firmware-update solutions; and support scalable robotic deployments. The role contributes to open-source Linux kernel, U-Boot, and ATF software; co-designs platform images; performs firmware updates, diagnostics, and cross-layer debugging; and leads software development, testing, performance optimization, API integration, and code reviews. It requires strong embedded Linux and operating-system development experience, with preferred expertise in C, kernel debugging, security technologies, and scripting. The role is an IC4 career level with a US hiring range of $110,100 to $234,600 per annum.
