Description
The Embedded Linux Platform Engineer will bring up and harden Oracle Linux on ARM, Intel, and AMD platforms; develop secure production images and OS/firmware-update solutions; and support scalable robotic deployments. The role involves open-source kernel, U-Boot, and ATF development; image co-design; firmware updates; diagnostics; cross-layer debugging; and complex software, API, and integration troubleshooting. It requires strong operating-systems development, C and kernel-level debugging, Unix/Linux kernel experience, security knowledge, and familiarity with the listed processor architectures. The role is IC4 and offers a US hiring range of $110,100 to $234,600 per annum, with medical, dental, and vision insurance among the benefits.
