The Financial Times is hiring a Principal Technical Architect within its Technology department to define and steer application, integration, cloud platform, and enterprise data architecture across FT Specialist and Community. This individual-contributor role owns architectural strategy, roadmaps, governance, modernization, platform consolidation, data flows, and AI-native architecture patterns; it also provides technical leadership, coaching, and cross-organizational influence without direct line management. The role operates under a hybrid model requiring onsite work 50% of the time.
