Description
Amazon is hiring a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead multi-year infrastructure efficiency and region flexibility programs across AWS. The role owns strategy and execution for petabyte-scale memory optimization, multi-region capacity balancing, architectural changes, fleet intelligence platforms, and agentic AI-driven automation across hundreds of engineering teams. The Principal TPM will partner with senior engineering leaders, build scalable program mechanisms, communicate risks and trade-offs to senior leadership, guide architecture and prioritization decisions, manage escalations, and mentor technical program managers. The position requires at least 10 years of technical product or program management experience, 5 years working directly with engineering teams, and 5 years of software development experience, and is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 177,000 to 239,400 USD annually.
