Description
The Principal Telecom Engineer is a senior specialist responsible for interpreting business issues, solving complex telecommunications engineering problems, and leading functional teams or projects. The role covers conceptual, FEED, and detailed design; design calculations and reports; project planning, resource forecasting, interface management, procurement support, technical reviews, audits, commissioning, and guidance of less experienced engineers. It requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics and instrumentation engineering, 15–20 years of oil and gas experience, and knowledge of functional safety standards; a master’s degree and professional engineering registration are preferred.
