Coherent Corp. is hiring for a senior photonics test engineering role responsible for leading silicon photonic integrated circuit (PIC) testing, configuring and qualifying optical and electrical test systems, debugging test anomalies, developing automated test solutions, and improving test robustness and repeatability. The role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, optical engineering, physics, or a related field, at least 10 years of hands-on laboratory experience, and expertise with photonics instrumentation and Python or LabVIEW-based automated testing. It is a hybrid position with occasional travel and overtime, and includes responsibilities related to EHS, quality, and environmental standards.
