Molex is hiring a Principal Test Engineer in Fremont, California, to lead test development for high-speed fiber-optic 800G/1.6T/3.2T transceiver characterization from early prototypes through pilot production. The role develops module calibration algorithms, test definitions, hardware and software test platforms, test data analysis, and failure-mode analysis while collaborating with design, hardware, firmware, project management, and purchasing teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in electrical engineering or a related discipline, 3–7 years of experience with IMDD and coherent modules, and experience with transceiver DVT, vector network analyzers, digital sampling oscilloscopes, signal-equalization techniques, Python test automation, and data-analysis tools.
