The client is hiring a Principal Traffic Engineer to lead traffic engineering design teams and complex transportation projects in San Diego, California. The role provides technical leadership, manages project schedules, budgets, scopes, contracts, and deliverables, coordinates with clients and public agencies, supervises engineering staff, mentors team members, and supports business development. Candidates must have a civil engineering degree, active California civil or traffic engineering professional engineer registration, at least seven years of traffic engineering or planning experience, and at least five years of traffic engineering team management experience. The position offers $130,000–$165,000 annually plus medical, dental, vision, profit sharing, retirement, and other benefits.
