ICF is hiring a Principal Transportation Engineer to serve as an ITS/TSMO consultant for federal and state transportation agencies. The role leads transportation operations planning, technology assessment, program implementation, task-order management, client deliverables, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery while supporting client relationships and business development. It requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of progressive experience in TSMO, ITS, transportation operations, technology modernization, or related consulting services for public-sector clients. The position is based in the Washington DC metro area with remote work locations considered, and offers a full-time pay range of $131,256 to $223,134.
