Description
The Principal Business Availability & Disaster Recovery Engineer leads the design, validation, and improvement of high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for Unix/Linux/AIX infrastructure. The role combines business availability strategy and systems design with disaster recovery validation, documentation, testing, and capacity monitoring, while also providing hands-on systems administration, troubleshooting, and remediation. It requires U.S. citizenship and residency, a BA/BS degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination, and expertise in Linux, Unix, AIX, Red Hat clustering, KVM, VMware, and cloud disaster recovery environments.
