Description
The Principal Welding Engineer will lead welding engineering and metallurgical consultative services for onshore and offshore projects, including welding qualification plans, procedure reviews, consumable estimation, training, automatic welding systems, readiness reviews, and resolution of metallurgical, welding, and quality problems. The role also supports bidding, vendor evaluations, project monitoring, and technical development across ferrous and non-ferrous materials, while managing welding engineers and coordinating with operations, customers, certifying authorities, and technical organizations. The position requires an MS/M Tech/ME in Welding or a BS/BE/B Tech in Welding, Metallurgy, or Mechanical Engineering, plus at least 8 years of related experience in welding, metallurgy, materials, and subsea pipelines.
