Tarana is hiring a Principal Wireless Algorithms Engineer focused on MAC-layer scheduling for its next-generation Fixed Wireless Access products. The role involves inventing and validating algorithms for spectrum, time, and data-stream allocation, link adaptation, interference management, latency, and fairness; writing production C++ on Linux; collaborating with systems, DSP, and field teams; and mentoring engineers. Candidates need 12+ years of wireless algorithm experience, an MS or PhD in a relevant field, strong wireless communications and C++ skills, and experience with simulation, data analysis, and AI-assisted development.
