Description
PsiQuantum is hiring a Principle Optical Fiber Architect to lead the design, integration, validation, and scaling of optical distribution networks for quantum computing systems. The role bridges component-level fiber links with system requirements, establishes ultra-low-loss and stability design principles, evaluates and qualifies fiber components, leads prototype builds and test plans, and collaborates with quantum, electronics, mechanical, thermal, and vendor teams. Candidates need an M.S. or PhD in Physics, Optical or Electrical Engineering, at least 10 years of industry experience, and extensive fiber-optic, optical testing, Python controls, and product-development experience. The role offers a U.S. base salary of $170,000–$230,000, with a Bay Area range of $240,000–$265,000.
