Description
GDMS is seeking a Printed Circuit Board Design Hardware Engineer to join their cross-functional team. The successful candidate will assist the Electrical Engineering product design team in laying out high-speed/high-density multi-layer Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) according to MIL/IPC standards using various design tools like Siemens DX Designer, Xpedition Enterprise, PTC CREO, and AutoCAD. They will also support thermal and mechanical analysis, troubleshoot fielded equipment failures, develop CAD layouts, and contribute to documentation for manufacturing and assembly. The role requires collaboration with internal engineers and adherence to strict security protocols due to the sensitive nature of the work. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and at least 2 years of experience, or a Master's degree with six months of experience. A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable timeframe after hire, and U.S. citizenship is required.
