Description
The Prior Authorization Representative will secure inpatient and outpatient radiology accounts by verifying insurance eligibility, benefits, and network status; calculating patient estimates; submitting accurate ICD, CPT, and medical-record information; obtaining prior authorizations; coordinating with payers and clinic staff; resolving denied or delayed requests; and maintaining authorization documentation. The role requires a high school diploma, at least three years of experience in a healthcare financial or medical office setting, prior authorization experience, and familiarity with an EMR or HER and Microsoft Office 365. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with starting pay of $20.00 to $21.00 per hour.
