Google is hiring a Privacy Engineering Manager to lead the GBO Privacy Working Group and oversee the development, maintenance, and scaling of the organization’s privacy program. The role coordinates privacy-safe design and launch reviews across global sales, services, product commercialization, and support teams; partners with executive leadership on strategic initiatives; and integrates AI/ML tools into the privacy review lifecycle. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, seven years of privacy-related experience, and two years of team-management and resource-management experience. Preferred qualifications include an MBA or graduate degree, AI/ML privacy experience, and strong executive-stakeholder communication and leadership skills. The role offers a US salary of $207,000–$300,000 plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits, with possible work locations in Mountain View, New York, or San Francisco.
