Description
The City of Ann Arbor is hiring a Private Development Engineer at the Civil Engineer III or Civil Engineer IV level to review private development construction plans, technical reports, and supporting documentation; identify and resolve design and construction issues; coordinate project activities with consultants, contractors, developers, and other stakeholders; and provide technical guidance to the public and project participants. Placement at the III or IV level depends on qualifications, licensure, and experience. The role requires a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, five to eight years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience, FE certification or a PE license, and a valid driver's license.
