Description
The PRN House Supervisor provides supervision of patient care and nursing-area personnel on an assigned hour basis, coordinating with Nursing Directors. Responsibilities include overseeing safety and working conditions, supporting legal and risk-management issues, participating in committees and quality improvement, developing nursing policies, determining staffing needs, mentoring and training staff and students, and maintaining professional communication with patients, providers, and other stakeholders. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Kansas Registered Nurse licensure, and a BLS card; a BSN and previous supervisor or management experience are preferred.
