Description
Akumin is hiring a PRN Radiologic (X-Ray) Technologist for its West Palm Beach facility. The role independently performs or assists licensed practitioners with diagnostic radiographic exams, administers ionizing radiation and contrast, documents procedures, and produces high-quality images. The technologist must use X-ray, EMR, PACS, and DICOM systems, communicate with patients and radiologists, maintain HIPAA confidentiality, and provide coverage as needed. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent experience, ARRT certification, a state license where applicable, CPR/BLS certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work at several locations; an associate's degree or equivalent experience and one year of X-ray experience are preferred.
