Description
The City of Auburn is recruiting two Probation Officers for its Probation Services Division. The role manages assigned caseloads, conducts intake, classification, risk and needs assessments, case planning, and court-ordered compliance activities; administers alternatives to incarceration and programs such as community service, electronic monitoring, day reporting, and therapeutic programming; coordinates with treatment facilities; and appears in court to present assessments and recommendations. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of experience in probation, corrections, court services, criminal justice, or social services, along with a valid Washington driver’s license and completion of required training.
