Description
The Production Engineer will develop, optimize, and control production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, standardize operations, and enhance quality, safety, and sustainability. The role uses Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, time and methods studies, line balancing, layout analysis, welding knowledge, and process improvement tools; it also involves training operators, maintaining layouts, and collaborating with Quality, Maintenance, Occupational Safety, and Logistics. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, technical-drawing interpretation, advanced Microsoft Office and SQL skills, SolidWorks or Solid Edge, 3D CAD, and Protheus knowledge, plus Lean Manufacturing, Green Belt, or Six Sigma tools. English at an intermediate level and Power BI are preferred.
