Description
Apple is seeking a Process and Quality Engineer to support the manufacturing and quality planning of next-generation products. The role covers process selection, implementation, optimization, quality planning, supplier quality audits, corrective actions, failure analysis, measurement and metrology technologies, quality control plans, information systems, and manufacturing methods. The engineer will work with Product Design Engineering and Industrial Design to assess manufacturability, recommend processes and equipment, and lead a network of supplier factories worldwide. The position requires experience supporting new product launches and developing quality plans, supplier audits, corrective actions, and failure analysis; soft-materials, mechanical fabrication, tooling, injection molding, plastics, project management, DFx, DOE, GD&T, SPC, communication, and domestic travel are mentioned as preferred or helpful qualifications.
