Description
FITS is seeking an Automation Technician to provide technical support and preventive and corrective maintenance for automated, electronic, PLC-controlled, and computerized systems in manufacturing, packaging, facilities, and utilities environments. The role includes troubleshooting, installation, configuration, upgrades, software and documentation maintenance, SOP and work-instruction writing, process-improvement projects, vendor troubleshooting, and compliance with cGMP, EHS, and site-security requirements. Candidates need a BS in Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Science, at least three years of combined industrial experience, Spanish and English fluency, and experience with Allen-Bradley or Rockwell Automation platforms, DeltaV, FactoryTalk, SCADA/DCS/BAS systems, networking or databases, and CMMS systems. The position follows a 12-hour shift from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
