Description
Westlake is hiring a Process Control Engineer to maintain, improve, and optimize process control strategies for chemical manufacturing units. The role focuses on DCS configuration, control-loop performance, alarm management, process optimization, troubleshooting, process safety, regulatory compliance, and support for capital and maintenance projects. The engineer will work with Operations, Process Engineering, Production, and Instrumentation teams, and may also provide limited PLC and HMI support. A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline and experience with DCS systems, control-loop tuning, process troubleshooting, and process optimization are required.
