Description
The Water Treatment Plant Operator operates and monitors SWRO desalination plant processes through DCS/SCADA systems, controls intake, pretreatment, DAF, ultrafiltration, high-pressure pumps, RO trains, chemical dosing, and product water systems, responds to alarms, and takes corrective actions. The role also records operational data, monitors water quality, analyzes performance trends, coordinates with field and maintenance teams, supports troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, and ensures compliance with HSE, environmental, and water quality requirements. Applicants need a relevant engineering or water treatment qualification and typically 3–5 years or more of experience in large-scale SWRO, water or wastewater treatment, process industries, or DCS/SCADA/PLC operations.
