Methanex is hiring a Process Controls Engineer in Nederland, Texas to provide technical expertise for plant process control, instrumentation, automation, and safety systems. The role supports safe and optimized operations, leads and coordinates capital projects with contractors, reviews engineering and automation designs, troubleshoots DCS/PLC systems, manages fire and gas systems, process control networks, plant instrumentation, analyzers, emissions monitoring, and related vendor contracts. It requires a bachelor’s degree in instrumentation, electrical, or automation engineering, preferably 2+ years of continuous-process industry experience, a TWIC credential, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
