Description
The Mechanical Project Engineer reviews and approves P&IDs, heat and mass balance diagrams, equipment sizing, material take-offs, fabrication drawings, and technical packages; coordinates with vendors, modelers, and project teams; monitors schedules and budgets; and leads a project team through installation and commissioning. The role requires an engineering degree in mechanical, chemical, or a master’s in mechanical or chemical engineering, and 7–12 years of experience.
