Description
Kilby Labs is hiring a Senior Silicon Photonics Process Engineer to lead the development, optimization, and volume scaling of heterogeneous integration of non-silicon modulator materials into high-volume silicon photonics. The role owns cleanroom processes such as planarization, die-to-wafer and wafer-to-wafer bonding, post-bond waveguide etching, and metallization; coordinates with fab, design, packaging, and R&D teams; and establishes process controls, yield and reliability strategies, characterization, and documentation. The position is based in Dallas, Texas, or Lehi, Utah, and requires a master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field plus at least three years of industry experience in high-volume silicon photonics heterogeneous integration.
