Description
Flex is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support the Austin site by designing, deploying, launching, and sustaining manufacturing production lines for industrial, machinery, and power equipment. The role also develops manufacturing methods and work instructions, improves productivity and quality, supports engineering change notices, organizes work areas and material flow, and performs process characterization and validation. Candidates need a BS in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, at least two years of engineering experience, manufacturing process improvement experience, and proficiency with Excel and Minitab; Six Sigma, aerospace manufacturing, NPI, SolidWorks, customer-facing work, and on-call availability are preferred.
