Description

ASML is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join their Wilton Factory Optical Fabrication team. The successful candidate will support daily manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with various internal and external teams to enhance equipment capability and product performance. Key responsibilities include developing complex spherical optics, optimizing cycle times, diagnosing machining issues, analyzing performance data, defining process specifications, performing process trials, supporting root-cause analysis, and promoting workplace organization.

Required Skills

Manufacturing of spherical or plano optical elements
Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE) and Six Sigma methodologies
Solid Modeling Software, NX
CAM Software, Mastercam
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, or equivalent software
Experience with SAP or MES systems
Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and practices

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Minimum 10+ years of experience in optical fabrication process engineering or a related manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience with optics fabrication techniques, including CNC machining, polishing, and surface inspection
Proficient in root cause analysis (RCA) and lean manufacturing tools
Familiarity with metrology techniques and quality assurance in optics manufacturing
Demonstrated ability to lead problem-solving initiatives and implement process improvements
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively across different departments
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
